Student Success Stories

Our students at
The National Ballet

We are delighted to learn that our students from the Classical Ballet Training Program (CBT) - Level 2, Brooke & Brianne Neal, were accepted into the full time program at The National Ballet. We wish them a very happy and successful year!

Megan Nadain is a past Anna Wyman student who attended our school for 7 years, graduating from the Senior Professional Training Program (PTP) in 2007. Since then Megan has kept in touch with Anna, sending her regular updates on her dance career. This is Megan's latest achievement, working with Godot Art Productions on their upcoming production of Homeland. It will be presented at Theatre Passe Muraille (Backspace), Toronto, ON over the next two weeks. Congratulations Megan!

Homeland is a multi-faceted examination of the meaning of home in a hybrid setting of dance, live music and documentary film. The spoken, and often unspoken, words of the personalities in the film are translated into a solo dance and physical theatre against the beat of drums and flow of electronic sequences performed by two musicians on stage. This contemplative journey of words, sounds, and movements, makes one rethink the definition of home.
